Finnish volunteers from the Åland Islands organization "Ukraine AX," led by Monica Von Frenckell, have donated three vehicles to the 15th Mobile Border Detachment "Steel Border": a truck converted into a mobile dental clinic, a large bus for transporting unit personnel, and a cargo vehicle for the logistical needs of the medical department.

"Our collaboration with the volunteer organization began in 2023 when they donated a medical bus for evacuating wounded soldiers from the combat zone to the medical department of the 15th Mobile Border Detachment," Oleksandr Solobchuk, the head of the health service of the 15th Mobile Border Detachment, said.

Over time, the border guards and volunteers conceived the idea of developing a mobile dental vehicle. They used a truck as the base and converted it into a dental clinic. The truck's body was fitted with dental equipment, an air conditioner, a generator, a boiler, and a sink. Additionally, they installed a resting area for medical personnel and an emergency exit for use in extraordinary situations.
